Two Ladyhawks have been recognised for their outstanding 2019 season at last nights’ AFL Barwon presentation night. After another outstanding season Gabby Deller was selected in the team of the year & was also runner-up in the league B&F, polling 13 votes. Gabby once again impressed everyone with her tireless work ethic & enormous courage seeing her dominate around the stoppages. She also proved valuable when pushing forward, using her class to regularly kick clutch goals.

Ladyhawks full-forward Mel Egan was rewarded for her brilliant season also being selected in the team of the year. Mel kicked 61 goals this year to win the League Goalkicking but showed her class by playing some of her best games in defence.

In great news for the club both Mel & Gabby have committed to the Ladyhawks for next season as the the club looks to continue to grow into an on-field force to be reckoned with.
