What a season 2022 was for our non-competitive age groups! The development shown throughout the year is testament to the fantastic group of coaches put in place for our little Hawks. We have seen footy skills and knowledge of the game improve out of sight and wonderful friendships being made. A huge highlight of the year was seeing many juniors attending home games for our Seniors and being involved in match day.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following coaches for their time and for helping to develop our Hawks in 2022:

U9s Dylan Justice, Simon Brown, Chris Bullock and Brenton Flynn

U10s Brent Taylor, Paul Frew, Phil Sidoti and Lee Dimo

U12s Mitch Osborne, Troy Jones, David Leatch and Adam Lunney

U12 Port/Hawks (Girls) Pete Evans and Harley Soall

We have been lucky enough to have had some amazing volunteers this season and we thank each one of you! Footy clubs are only as great as the people involved and the Drysdale Football Club has certainly been a great place to be in 2022.

If you are interested in becoming more involved in Junior Footy next year, whether its coaching, umpiring, becoming a team manager, helping at Auskick, or contributing in another way, we would love to hear from you.

Keep an eye out on the Junior Facebook pages for updates during the off season.

WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK

the Drysdale Football Club Committee would like to here from Members of the community on whether they would like the Club to remain at the Drysdale Recreation Reserve. The Committee is happy to pursue the upgrade of facilities if that is the general consensus.

A survey has been sent to all Members asking for a response. Click HERE to go directly to the survey.

Have you booked your tickets to our Senior Presentation night, its going to be big!

We invite you all to join us this Saturday as our Reserves and Senior Men play qualifying finals at Portarlington.

If you are free this Sunday our under 14’s will head into their second week of finals up against Geelong Amos 12pm at Hamlyn Park.

Go Hawks!
