Daniel Jull to co-coach the Hawks in 2019

From a Drysdale Auskicker as a 5 year old to senior coach in 2019, that is the journey Daniel Jull has taken at our football club.

Jully has recently been appointed as co-coach for 2019, with details on his coaching partner yet to be released.

As a local boy Daniel first commenced in VicKick (now Auskick) at our club as a five year old, and immediately showed both skill and courage.  Never the biggest player in his team he was always a ball magnet, and if he did’nt have the ball he was tackling whoever had it.

By age 19 year Daniel played in our 2009 Premiership side and followed this up in the back to back win of 2010.

Having acheived ultimate success at Drysdale Jully made the move to St Mary’s in the GFL and was also a VFL listed player with Geelong.  When he returned to Drysdale in 2015 Jully was appointed captain and assistant coach, and  has won our past two best and fairest awards.

With this great playing history behind him it was not a difficult decision for the club to make when he put up his hand for a senior coaching role.

We look forward to Daniel guiding the outstanding group of young players at our club and we will shortly be making a major announcement about his co-coach.
